These Terms govern the website design, hosting and support services provided by Signal Desk Labs (a UK sole trader). By submitting a build request or making payment, you agree to these Terms.

We build fast, clean one-page websites. You pay the build fee upfront. Hosting/support is monthly and can be cancelled anytime. One revision is included. The 48-hour delivery window starts when we have everything we need from you.
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of website design, hosting and support services by Signal Desk Labs (“we”, “us”, “our”) to the client (“you”, “your”). By submitting a build request or making payment, you agree to these Terms.
2. Services Provided
Signal Desk Labs provides a streamlined website service designed for speed and affordability. Typical inclusions:
- check One-page website design
- check Mobile-optimised layout
- check Basic on-page SEO structure
- check Domain connection (if you own a domain)
- check Secure hosting + SSL (with active hosting plan)
- check Minor monthly content updates (up to 10 minutes/month)
Not included
E-commerce, complex integrations, custom web apps, unlimited revisions, and marketing/SEO campaigns are not included unless agreed in writing.
3. Payment Terms
Website Build: The build fee is payable upfront before work begins.
Hosting & Support: The monthly hosting fee is billed monthly in advance. You may cancel at any time. Partial month refunds are not provided.
Non-payment: If hosting fees remain unpaid, the website may be suspended until payment is resolved.
4. Delivery Timeline
The 48-hour delivery window begins once full payment has been received and all required information, branding and content have been provided by you. Delays caused by missing information, slow responses, or revision requests may extend the timeline.
5. Revisions
One revision round is included with the build. Additional revisions or changes outside the original scope may incur additional fees or require a separate quote.
6. Client Responsibilities
You confirm that:
- check You have the legal right to use all content, images, logos and text provided.
- check Your business operates lawfully and information supplied is accurate.
We are not responsible for copyright infringement resulting from client-provided materials.
7. Refund Policy
Due to the custom nature of website builds, refunds are not available once work has commenced. Hosting fees are non-refundable once billed.
8. Hosting & Support Scope
The monthly hosting plan includes:
- check Secure hosting + SSL renewal
- check Monitoring and basic maintenance
- check Minor updates (up to 10 minutes per month)
Larger changes, additional pages, new features, or substantial rewrites are quoted separately.
9. Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, you retain rights to your business content. We retain rights to underlying templates, frameworks and reusable design systems used to deliver the service.
We may display completed work in our portfolio unless requested otherwise in writing.
10. Limitation of Liability
We shall not be liable for business losses, loss of revenue or profits, indirect or consequential damages, or third-party service outages (hosting, domain providers, email providers, etc.). Our total liability shall not exceed the total fees paid by you.
11. Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse service to businesses operating in illegal, high-risk or restricted industries.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
